During an outage, the replicated virtual machine can be started on the target server with the latest replicated data. It will support replication between any type of storage supported by the VMware ESX Server including direct attached SCSI or Fiber Channel SANs, as well as iSCSI and NAS storage, which are supported in the latest versions of VMware ESX Server.
