How Double-Take Availability Works

Double-Take Availability protects your business from downtime and data loss by efficiently and securely replicating data, applications or entire servers to a secondary server for quick and easy recovery. At the core of the Double-Take Availability software is its platform independent replication technology that captures changes at the byte level and replicates them in real time between any server hardware and storage – whether those servers are physical, virtual or in the cloud. Platform independences reduces the total cost of the solution by integrating into your business’ IT infrastructure today while scaling to support the infrastructure your business will build for the future.

Real-time, byte-level replication minimizes bandwidth consumption, allowing servers to be located in the same data center or across the globe, and ensures near-zero recovery time (RTO) and a sub-second recovery point (RPO). Data integrity is maintained through write order fidelity during replication. Recovery can be accomplished using the most current replicated data or with point-in-time snapshots.

No matter the size of your business, Double-Take Availability allows you to achieve a full-scale high availability and disaster recovery solution that keeps your operations running 24x7 at a price you can afford.
